My dad is an inspiration to me because he has helped me with my whole life basically. He has never let anybody down and he keeps his cool without getting mad easily. My dad is one of the best inspirations in my life. So that’s why I picked my dad as my inspiration.
One-way my dad inspires me is never giving up. Like how in baseball when my team is down by like 10 I would still do my best. He even helps me with never giving up in academics too, like how in math. If I’m stuck on a math problem my dad helps me and teaches me many ways to solve it. A tragic and terrifying thing happened in my life. My dad was in the ICU, in the hospital. I was in steamboat playing tournaments with my mom. When we got the news my mom and I came to the hospital as fast as we could. My dad was strong and never gave up and so my dad lived. I got to see my dad and I hope this moment never happens anytime soon.
Another way my dad inspires me is that he can handle so much stuff. My dad stays calm basically no matter what heat is coming after him. Like when my mom is all frustrated with work and my old baseball team drama. My dad stays calm without being something is about to trigger and explode like my mom. My dad calms down my mom and listens to all the stuff my mom talks about. My dad is patient like when I am devastated after a lost sports game and I blame myself because we lost. My dad always tells me it was a team effort and that the whole team contributed to the lost. My dad can handle a lot of turbulent frustration.
Another example my dad inspires me is that he is a multitasked person. My dad can feed me take me to my baseball training and help me with my homework. My dad juggles so much stuff it’s unbelievable. Like how my dad feeds me breakfeast, lunch, dinner, then takes me to sports, and then my dad works about 7am to 4pm too. My dad inspires me to handle so many things and to be organized too. But I still get some of that from my mom too.
My dad has inspired me with so much and taught me a copious amount of things. Yet these are just three examples out of many ways my dad inspires me. My dad is one of the best inspirations in my life.
